If they are not in stock, we can manufacture these in 4-6 weeks. Special sizes are possible, as you can see in the video, we have the capacity to make custom made tools in larger sizes as well. Even the installation tools to install inserts are eligible for custom made versions.
The issue was going deeper in the parent material than what was possible with the standard tool. We designed and manufactured this tool in 6 weeks.
An aerospace company in the USA required longer broaching tools. The obstacle they encountered, was that the hole was too narrow to fit the broaching tool, as well was too deep to still be able to pre broach the panel.
We custom designed and manufactured the broaching tool to fit with this application.
The aerospace company from story two required us to custom make the installation tool as well. The hole was too deep for the regular installation tool for the Clinsert to work. Therefore, we custom made a larger and longer size installation tool to install these inserts.
As you have seen, we have the capacity to make special size installation and broaching tools.
